What is Popup Wizard for Wix?

Does Popup Wizard work with my Wix site?
Yes. Popup Wizard is available on the Wix App Market and works from your Wix dashboard without custom code.
Will Popup Wizard slow down my Wix site?
No. The app loads asynchronously after your page content, so it does not affect your Wix site's initial load time or Core Web Vitals.
Do I need coding skills to use Popup Wizard?
No coding skills are required. Describe the popup you want, choose the generated content or layout, and customize the colors, copy, timing, and targeting from the app dashboard.
How do I get better results from the AI popup generator?
Use a detailed prompt that covers four things: the goal (what you want the popup to achieve), the layout (two-column, centered card, portrait image), the CTA (what the button should say), and any behavior (what each button does). Short prompts work, but a prompt like 'Create a two-column email signup popup with a lifestyle image on the left and a discount headline, email field, and CTA on the right' produces a layout and copy much closer to what you want from the start.
Can I customize the popup designs?

Yes. Popup Wizard includes a free plan with up to 5,999 popup impressions per month and one AI campaign. The Growth plan adds unlimited impressions and unlimited AI campaigns.
Does Popup Wizard support exit-intent popups?
Yes. Exit-intent detection is a live feature. When a visitor's cursor moves toward the browser close button or back button, Popup Wizard triggers the popup before they leave — giving you one last chance to capture their email or show an offer. You enable it per campaign in the targeting settings.
Can I sync captured leads to Klaviyo or my own system?
Yes. Popup Wizard connects to Klaviyo so captured leads are added to your list automatically after each submission. You can also configure a custom webhook to POST lead data to any endpoint — useful for Zapier, Make, or your own backend. Both integrations are configured in Settings → Integrations inside the app.
What data does Popup Wizard capture with each lead?
Every lead includes the fields your popup collects (email, name, phone, or any custom fields you add). Popup Wizard also records the UTM parameters from the visitor's URL (source, medium, campaign), device type, browser, operating system, and the page URL where the lead was captured — so you can attribute signups back to specific campaigns and traffic sources.
